Just below and to the front of the forward button is the DPI shift button and here contains one of the new features of the G502 X line. The DPI shift button can be flipped around to bring it close to your thumb and is held in by a nice magnet. Or, if you prefer not to have it in use, Logitech provides a cover so you can just have a smooth area near your thumb rest. I always like it when companies give you options and here, I like Logitechrsquo;s decision to make this DPI shift button configurable physically. It took me a little bit to stop pressing it accidentally and if you canrsquo;t adjust to it, just cover it up with the included cover. Nowadays, manufacturers segment their products into tiers to cater to everyone. While this can be a good thing in the long run, it can also be perceived as a quick cash grab. With the new generation of G502 X mice, there are three variations to choose from: the G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, and function ga4_link128'G502 X Plus.
